Good Supplement!!

I was able to put on about 20 lbs and probably triple my strength, with minimal supplements, occasional vitamins and basically just training hard and having protein shakes, mixed with raw oats. Now I'm adding in a cool, organic, pure, natural, food and multivitamin (vitamins A, D, K, E...), with more protein than ground beef. Alfalfa has been called "the father of all foods."  (Also available in capsules, that are made from a tree gel - not gelatin, for convenience):  www.suedehills.com

MOVE YOUR BODY

Nobody should have to explain why exercise is good and important - it's fact. So let's all get our butts out of our vehicles and comfortable chairs and get moving. God gave us hands and feet. The body is designed to function... it malfunctions if we choose to neglect it.

WHOLENESS

Training and sport are natural to me. They're in my genetics. The struggle I've had to face is that I come from a background that has been at times overly religious and has not always supported me as an athlete. As a result, I'm opposed to organized religion. Instead, I believe in personal religion... In other words, I believe in Christ's teaching that "...the kingdom of God is within you," and that religion should be a strong, unconventional, faith - a personalized thing and about my whole being. God made the human body... the real temple, you might say.

RUNNER'S REWIND

Thought I'd share something I wrote from May 21, 2012 (this photo is on Westwood Ridge, not Morrell Sanctuary, but it's still one of my favourite places to run). Here it is. "Exercising and running outside makes me thank and praise God... especially on a day like today! Just finished running up through Morrell Sanctuary and back to my apartment. Beautiful morning air. Scents of spring. Smells of tree bark, plants and water. God is good. I feel gratitude, peace and happiness. I always get a sense of renewal when I run. My heart is beating, the rhythm of my stride is formed, I push myself in short distances and up small hills. I feel sweat and heat coming off my flesh. The blood is flowing. I'm alive and in some type of 'zone.' I feel prepared today, with this experience and these memories still fresh in my mind."
